R-Drive Image v4.7 Build 4722 | 10.8 MB
R-Drive Image – utilita to create a disk image files and data backup. A disk image file contains exact, byte for byte copy of a hard disk, partition or ligicheskogo disk can be created without rebooting the computer and with different levels of data compression. These drive image files can be stored in a variety of places, including removable media such as CD-R (W) / DVD, Iomega Zip or Jazz disks. R-Drive Image restores the images on the original disks, on any other partitions or even on the free space on the disk without rebooting the system. To restore system and other locked partitions R-Drive Image is switched to the pseudo-graphic mode directly from Windows or bootable version of the program from the CD or diskettes.
Using R-Drive Image, you can completely and rapidly restore your system after heavy data loss caused by system failure, virus attack or hardware failure. You can also use R-Drive Image for mass system deployment when you need to install one that is already configured system, many identical computers. In other words, you can manually setup one system, create an image and then deploy it on other computers, saving time and money. To restore only certain files, disk image can be attached as a virtual disk and with it, ie, directly from the disk image is easily copied using Windows Explorer or other file utilities.
New features R-Drive Image in the 4-th version
• Backup sets. Standby set is a collection of files, images, objects (usually created in incremental / differential mode), processed R-Drive Image as a whole. They are used to flexibly control the parameters of the various backup tasks and allow for the designed for image files, disk space, the number of stored files and the time within which to store backups.
• Support for Windows Vista and 64-bit processors. The new version of R-Drive Image supports all Windows Vista operating system and 64-bit processors.
• Faster operations in image creation and disc copy. Added Asynchronous I / O and distributed the zlib compression library and other facilities. The operation of image creation and disc copy up to 200%.
• Differential image creation. In differential mode when creating a backup disk by comparing current data with 128-bit hash of the original data without reading the main image. In any case it accelerates the process of creating an image, but also no need to change the original discs when writing the image to CD / DVD.
• Incremental image creation mode. Added new differential mode.
• A bootable module can be burned to CD / DVD disc together with the image. Became possible to use a bootable CD / DVD drive and system recovery.
• Support for the backup volume using the Volume Shadow Copy Service (Microsoft Volume Shadow Copy Service). When you create a snapshot of the database in real time, server, Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft SQL Oracle, etc. notified before copying. The technology allows synchronizing the servers’ database and to make correct copies of quick data.
• Support for Dynamic disks and BSD partitions (BSD slices). Allows you to make backup copies of dynamic disks and BSD partitions, save them and restore. This property is supported in both Windows and bootable CD version of R-Drive Image. You can create a disk image or partition of any type and then restore the image back to a dynamic or basic disk. However, if you restore that image can not change the size or other characteristics of the drive on which the image is restored. When a dynamic disk image is restored to a basic disk, basic disk can not be converted to dynamic.
• Flexible control records on CD / DVD. Allows limiting the writing speed and cashing in the ISO file.
• Improved file format of a disk image.
• Writing to NTFS partitions. Version R-Drive Image,
